Great campground. Only down fall was the locals would honk their horns as they drove by at night and that when the wind picked up it brought down a lot of limbs from the trees in our site.

Bathrooms were pretty good, not stinky. We got the Douglas group site and it has its own faucet, so we didn't have to share it with any others. We had a pavillion with tables, serving area, a huge grill in addition to the big fire pit with benches around it. We had lots of space for our tents, plenty of parking. The beach area is a short walk from where we were, and the beach does not disappoint. It gets windy here though, so make sure you have things to hold your canopies and umbrellas down! We didn't have any issues with bugs (not even mosquitoes!). This is the second time we come here, and our kids LOVE it.

Nice campground. Lots of shade trees. Easy access and easy check in. Would have gotten 5 stars but the “quiet time after 10 pm” was not enforced. We were camping with children and the noise made it hard for them to settle in. A campsite near us played for hole and laughed and talked loudly until 2 am one night.

The campsite was spacious but next to the highway, so constant noise from that. The camp host at the gate was very short with us. At least we weren't there early, but she was mostly concerned with whether or not there was another car coming to our site, and we were asked at least three times (there was not another car joining us). We also go no direction to our campsite, so we just drove around. The site numbers were obscured by bird poo, so I ended up walking the road until we found our site. $12 is a steep price for the dump. I also didn't like that the gates close at 10 each night, esp with the days being so long. If I wanted to go elsewhere for the sunset, it would've been too much of a hassle, so we changed some of our plans. With all that being said, I love the close proximity to Snowbasin and the lake, and will likely be back next year, hopefully getting to reserve a campsite closer to the water!

Beautiful campground with lots of grassy areas and trees. The lake and surroundings are beautiful. The other lake users were problematic with swimming where boats were trying to load and unload, and boaters did not seem to understand space and safety.

We had an excellent time, visited over July 4 weekend (2022). Grass and shrubs were all still green and reservoir was almost full. Yurt was nice and level, and the two full beds inside were very comfortable. Enough so that we didn't use our inflatable mattress we brought. Camp site was moderately shaded and restroom facilities were updated and as clean as one could expect for vault toilets. Staff moderating the parking and site were very friendly and accommodating. Walk to the beach was about two minutes, would highly recommend, our site (site 107) was next to day use parking so a little busy during the day (holiday weekend) but very close to everything. We plan to make it an annual trip.
