My family really enjoyed this campground. I liked our proximity to the reservoir, but wish there were stairs or a wooden ramp to get up and down the hill. I have mobility issues and it was challenging for me to climb up and down the sandy path. I do love that you can fill your camper with water at no charge.

Do NOT arrive early and expect to check in. Other than the interaction with this one “host” the campground and location is wonderful!

The check in lady was very rude. We have always in the past given our name, now without the conformation number, she will not let you in. She said check in time is not until 3:00 pm, with a very rude attitude. There is nothing on the web site that says when check in time is. She said you can park in the overflow, along with about 8 other cars, with a very rude attitude. Talking with other campers, they also had the opinion that the check in lady was very rude. The site was clean, the bathrooms were cleaned regularly, the staff out and about in the golf carts were pleasant and helpful. We have been to Anderson Cove many times in the past. We have never had nothing but a pleasant time checking in until this time.

By far one of the best campgrounds. We love everything about it, the location, the scenery, and easy access to the water.

Beautiful spot. We arrived 20 mins before check in time and we had to sit and wait in a parking lot until 3. There were 3 others as well waiting and we were told rules are rules. The camp host should be more flexible especially over 20 mins.

Always a great experience at the Anderson Campground. Has never disappointed. Well maintained and very friendly and courteous staff. There is a lot of camp time coming up, I’m sure that I will be back quite a few more times this season.
