Everything was very nice. The camp hosts were very attentive and cleaned up each site as campers left. Absolutely no complaints!

Best place we have ever camped. We would have booked for the next time we want to go camping but it was already reserved. I guess popular too!

I stayed here with friends for one night and it was great. Our site was big enough for at least two large tents. You do have to pay a $10 fee for having more than one car, but that wasn't a big deal since we knew we would have to beforehand. The only downside is that campsites are quite close to each other, and a group next to ours was pretty loud, long after quiet hours. Causey Reservoir is less than 10 minutes away. It's free, and you can paddleboard, canoe, float on tubes, cliff jump, and more. Overall we had a great experience.

We camped in a group site with extended family and had a great time. We stayed in the first week of July 2021. It was hot but there was always a place to find shade. The river was excellent for kids and a great way to stay cool. There were lots of little wading areas that had been created with river rocks for smaller kids which was really nice. And of course there was tubing for everyone else. The campground was well maintained and the bathrooms clean and well ventilated. There were very few mosquitoes which was really nice. We also found the location to be convenient. There is a gas station only 10 minutes away (we needed ice a couple different times because it was so hot). Causey reservoir is really close too. No cell service for us (AT&T) but that doesn’t bother us too much. Drive 5 minutes toward town and you’ll get service if you need it. As far as wildlife, saw many pretty birds, lots of squirrels, and a deer. We also enjoyed star gazing at night—there were so many stars! The camp host was helpful and pleasant. We will for sure come back again soon!

It was a beautiful spot with a running creek through it. My only issue was being next to a freeway.

Other people's dogs of lease came into out camp spot multiple times, no privacy and lots of late night noise. Didn't even stay the second night that was already paid for. We had our spot reserved from Saturday to Monday but only stayed first night and left next morning. Pretty disappointing

4D was a nice campsite…the next campsite tent set up is a bit close though.

We loved South Fork campground. The camp spot we stayed in was clean and had plenty of privacy. It was one of the more exposed spots which got a little hot, but the views of the stars at night was a good trade off. We will definitely be going back.

Awesome views! Close to Pineview lake in Huntsville. Zero cell service!
