If youre wanting to put up a hammock, don’t book site 2 lol. Bummed to see we were one of the few sites that didn’t have any trees. The camp hosts were great. Friendly and available to answer questions but not the type that invite themselves into your campsite 10 times a day to chat. Overall a very average campground. Nothing exciting but nothing terrible.

Campground was very clean and neat and very quiet at night. Would recommend it to all.

A nice campground with very helpful hosts. The only drawback is the barely lukewarm showers. I'd like to suggest that there are more effective ways to conserve energy and water.

The landscape around the sites and tables was rough.

Stayed in mid May, weather was already getting into the high 70s-80s. Picked this spot due to it having shade, however most of it was always in the sun. Close to bathrooms, however trail to bathrooms does run right beside you. Felt a little close to other campers. Expect the unexpected when it comes to wind/gusts, found my high profile tent fighting for its life after the wind rolled in (had no problem with our back up smaller tent). Better suited for smaller tents, only really had one place suitable for my 9x10 tent

Clean bathrooms and friendly camp hosts. Other than the river hike, there is not a ton to do in the campground, but the hike to dinosaur quarry was a good little workout and the rangers were very well-informed.

The Green River Campground was great. Camping by myself for the first time, I was a little nervous. I felt completely safe; I was able to sleep peacefully and enjoy my camp fire without being worried. The caretakers were extreamly nice and kept an eye out for me. There is no cell service, however I don't mind being out of contact with the world.
