Camp hosts very kind. Was surprised they offered Junior Ranger at the campground. In general very personable.

We loved this campground! We tent camped three nights in the reservable loop mid—July with our 3 and 5 year old. There are some really beautiful views of the mountains in some of the sites, and some of the sites have little trails where you can walk a short distance to access the river. There is also a spot where everyone can access the river. The river edge we saw was rocky with current, so not really safe for kids to play in but nice to splash around a bit and some Sandy areas where kids could play. The camp hosts were very kind and helpful. There was water at this campground when we stayed. There are flushable toilets and and sinks- no showers. The bathrooms were clean! It is only about a five minute drive from the quarry visitor center, which was really nice because we ended up going back to look at the visitor center displays and the quarry hall a couple times each day.

Camp host was very helpful. It was very hot but cooled off once the sun set. Bathrooms were clean. The river was easy to access with beautiful scenery. Tent site was good size.

Campground was very clean and well tended. Views and scenery from the camp were awesome, stay up late for star viewing after dark. Close access to the Green River from the camp. Camp hosts were extremely helpful and nice. There were a lot of first come first served sites that seemed to fill up quickly each day that we were there. Some sites had much better shade than others, so do your research if shade is important to you. Bathrooms were clean with flush toilets and sinks. Water and water fountain by the bathrooms. Campground was inside the National Park, so all of the attractions were within close driving range. One day we visited the Dinosaur Quarry Exhibit Hall and Visitors Center (small gift shop). Another day we took a driving tour and visited several different petroglyph sites, Split Mountain Campground, Placer Point, Josie Morris Ranch, and viewed numerous stunning rock formations......all worth the time to visit. Ice and supplies are within 10 miles outside of the National Park. No Tracfone cell service.

My grandkids ages 6 and 10 rated this campground their favorite of all time. Plenty of room to ride their bikes, tons of kids to play with and the river was excellent to cool off in the afternoon. The adults enjoyed the shade trees and friendly hosts. The sites are well spaced and the restrooms were clean. I'd recommend filling water jugs in the morning as water pressure was lower in the afternoon.
