The campgrounds were conveniently located close to the dinosaur monument. Although the grounds were quiet, there weren’t any trails thru the camp and had multiple neighbors walk right past out front door to cut thru to another site. Also had a large red ant hill in our spot so we had a hard time even finding a spot to set up our chairs. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

Had to decide between 3 or 4 stars.
Nice location, but not much privacy. Sites were pretty close to one another. I could hear other camper's conversations when they spoke at a normal voice. The hosts were great. The restrooms had running water and were overall pretty clean, but haven't been painted or given an update in a while. This campground is very family friendly (read: lots of noisy kids even after quiet hours)
My 2 nights here were just fine. Nothing more nothing less. Would I come back, no. I would much prefer more privacy and more remote to avoid the RV'ers. I would call this more of an RV Park than campground. We tent camp so we can't just shut the door to our RV and drown out the noise while watching Netflix inside.

Overall good campsite and on par with other NPS sites. There were some loud neighbors for a bit but that is not the fault of the campsite. Good location within the park, pretty central to multiple trailheads and not too far to the quarry. Quite a few sites I saw had at least some shade. Clean bathrooms within the campsite. Good variety of campsites for tents/RVs/vans, etc. Access to the river in a few spots which was beautiful to watch at sunset. I would stay here again if I came back to the Utah side of the monument.

Beautiful wooded sites close to the river. Clean flush toilets. Did have some high winds. Great place to stay when visiting Dinosaur National Monument.

We stayed in site 43B in mid-June for 2 nights. The campsite was a good location close to the river and Dinosaur Quarry. We loved playing in the river with our kids. We have a 33 foot travel trailer and the site was easy to back into with enough room for the trailer and the truck. There was not very much shade for this site, a little on the East but nothing on the West to shade us at night, which made it hot at night. The big issue for this site was there were a bunch of red/fire ants in the driveway and in the dirt that made us a little uncomfortable to sit outside by the table.
