I have been going to this campground for 16 years. I understand we are in a drought and the lake is as low as I have ever seen it, looks like Sept. levels. i know it is used for irrigation and understand. What I didn't expect was construction noise all day long from a new search and rescue parking lot being built and then 3 new parking lots will be installed for the Crystal Lake Trailhead and what looks to be day access to Washington lake. This will turn this lake and campground which was once a small quiet place into Mirror lake. Busy and a mess. Also not happy with the "yurt" experiment here. Seems like they were only used a few times. Can't say enough about the host Rick and his Wife though. Bathrooms spotless and things are orderly there. Hate the extra vehicle fee of $10 a day when it can clearly be parked off the road on the campsite pad. So many families have to take 2 vehicles these days. Just has become more of a business than a outdoor experience. I have cancelled my next reservation. Will be looking for a new quieter place to go. Makes me sad.

Camping here was absolutely wonderful! The campsite was very clean. Very beautiful and cool temperatures. The vault toilets were the cleanest I've ever used! Kudos to the camp host for keeping them clean. Lots of good hiking near by.

Beautiful place to camp, hosts Rick and Joni keep the cleanest campground I have ever seen, they are super friendly and helpful! Endless Fishing and hiking locations close to camp. You have to stop at the Provo River falls and walk around. Fun place to have a little snack by the falls. Beautiful picture spot.

AMAZING CAMP GROUND HOSTS! Our Labor trip was our 3rd trip to Washington Lake for 2020 . We would have reserved more trips but, we did not purchase our Rv until late June. So we booked as frequently as we could. The camp ground is very spacious, clean and beautiful setting. However, Rick and Joni are the biggest reason for our rating this as our favorite! They are awesome - very friendly, welcoming and a true pleasure!

Washington Lake has wide RV parking strips and very large concrete pads with a picnic table and a raised, concrete fire pit. The camp host is excellent. The campground was clean and we noticed he was sweeping the concrete areas immediately after campers left.
We will be back, but next time earlier in the year so, hopefully, it doesn’t snow on us again.

Great campground and facilities. Well kept and the camp host was amazingly diligent at keeping everything neat and clean.
The only issue is they allow generators to run all day until 10 PM. They really should follow the Bryce Canyon NP policy of 8-10 AM and 6-8 PM only. You are at 10,000 feet after all in a wild high alpine area. Why run generators so long? Go outside and enjoy the place you are staying at. Use generators only during meal times.
