The camp host Rick ruined this trip for us. We are always VERY respectful to other campers in the campground. We didn't even start our generator once. Rick kept coming to our camp trying to micro manage our trip. At dinner time, we were playing cornhole and he came in telling us that we were being too loud, which we weren't. He said in the middle of the day that our kids are to loud. Other campers were starting their generators at 6am and running them til 10pm but he felt the need to get after us over and over. I just hope ne is never the host again as this is our favorite camping spot in the High Uinta's, mainly for our high profile 5th wheel not fitting anywhere else. This host is on a power trip..... going around the camping loop every hour harassing guests. He also accused us of ripping the CanAm around to fast when it was parked the whole time. We told him there were 2 other machines and he asked us to prove where they were. Our machine didn't leave our spot that night.

The camp host, Rick, does an outstanding job of keeping the campsites, and restrooms clean. He has always been very helpful to us and we couldn't think of that campground without them. Hope you recognize what you have in them as campground hosts!

We've been going to Washington Lake long before it was an organized campground. We just love it there even though too many people know about it. Rick, the campground host, went above and beyond for us. He has the cleanest and best smelling outhouses I've ever been in. He helped us find a new spot for a 2nd night. We had pretty great weather and enjoyed everything about the area.
One complaint - the reservation system is terrible. We went on the very first day and the only thing open was the one day we got in August. There needs to be a better way. And why in the world do you have glamping sights? What a waste of good campsites. And we really miss the first come first serve spots. That was the only way we could get a camping spot. Please bring them back

We camped there for a night during a weekend. Our group had plans for a hike before checking in at 3PM, but we still went to the site to just see how the spot was. It was around 10AM, but the gentleman at the check-in was kind and courteous enough to let us park our cars and set things up even 5 hours before the check-in time. The spot was clean and well maintained. Restroom was clean as well. The spot had enough space for two 4-person tents. Overall, I think we’d go there again if we get a chance, especially since there are a lot more hikes left to be done.

The host, Rick was very friendly and informative during our stay. When we arrived. He showed us which spot was ours. And pointed out the surrounding area of lakes and trails.
