We really enjoyed our stay. It was our first time camping with a trailer and the site host stopped by and answered all of our questions willingly. There is a nice hiking trail at the top of the campground. My kids loved biking around the campground.

Too many people. Alot of locals use this area so don't go on Labor Day Weekend. Love the hiking trails though

Well kept campground and attentive camp hosts. Very busy, and mildly noisy campground. Lots of young families and dogs. Will be back again.

Amazing area that's very close to home. Perfect for those quick weekend retreats but nice enough for extended stays. The bathrooms near site 05 and the camping spots themselves are very well maintained. We tried 3 times to visit the camp host to check in (not sure if that's even a requirement, this was our first time camping by ourselves without a group so we're not sure how it works) but we figured they were busy. Will definitely be back with the rest of the family soon.

Camping spot was alittle small but you cant know when reserving it with one picture one line, but it worked and enjoyed our time there.

Whiting is a delightful campground just a few hundred yards up a beautiful canyon from Mapleton, Utah. Our stay from Sunday through Friday was quiet with only two or three other campsites occupied. The campground (and toilets) were clean and well-kept. The weather was great and it was perfect for our stay near family members living in Mapleton.
