You should provide a refund, if a summer monsoon makes it so the campsite is not available. Can not give you a review, if I was not able to access the campsite, so I will left you with a poor rating. Drove for thirteen hours and was within five minutes of the site and was turned back by the county sheriff due to monsoon flooding.

We had a nice, but hot stay at Whiting Campground. Because of the time of week there, it was peaceful. The campsite was good. We liked all the tree coverage, etc. One thing that was interesting - we were visited regularly and often by box elder bugs! This must have been their time of the year to be out. As we relaxed next to our trailer, we sprayed those who thought they needed to be more friendly. Next time, we will choose a different time of the year and see if there are as many at that time!

The yurt was amazing however there was pretty much 2 family reunions going on next to us. I don't even know how many people, but a lot and they were completely not self-aware. Stayed up late. Not peaceful as we were hoping. Then in the morning were just heading out to go hiking when we realized there was a Rattlesnake slithering around our tent looking for a way in. Yikes! We had to wait him out and pack up our things. I totally get it, camping in July. It was just a lot between the sleep deprivation from the many babies crying all night, no water, rattlesnakes, and late night with what felt like at least 50 people next to us.

The majority of the campsites are in the shaded areas. The outhouses were the cleanest if ever seen. The camp host was wonderful. Very nice experience.

Nice campground, the sites were a good pace apart. I would take my horses camping here!

The campground is great and we loved the host. What a nice woman. Someone messed up the restroom, and she was right on top of it. The only bad thing was the heat, drought year and no water in the creek, not rec.gov's fault. We'll come back another year.

Lots of shade and tons of parking and tables for our group. Couldn’t have asked for nicer facilities. I loved all the grill space and metal “tables” for the Dutch ovens. Being at the end of the road there wasn’t all weekend traffic like so many other camp sites we’ve stayed at. Very close to town for when someone forgot paper goods. Will definitely come back.
