What Guests Are Saying
The Green River Float-in Campsites offer a wonderful experience with great wildlife viewing, including sightings of moose, otters, and osprey. Campsites are generally well-maintained, with clean facilities and good amenities like flat tent platforms and fire pits. While some areas may have issues with vegetation or crowding due to guide permits, the overall beauty and tranquility of the river make it a highly recommended destination for camping and floating.

Great location on the Green! It was a shorter first day, but the camp is beautiful!! We stayed at the Cat's Paw and it was perfect. Great tent spots and picnic table with plenty of shade provided by a big Ponderosa. Would stay again!

Bootleg was a fantastic site. Signage could be better to be more easily seen. The sites further down- particularly in the C section need signs. It seems as though some may be deliberately removing the signage to keep sites available for those more familiar with the river.

The board at Little Hole with all the float in camp site reservations was completely wrong. This is an issue since people are allowed to sign up on the board for available sites.
We adjusted our reservations on Aug 1st, a week before our arrival. However, when we went down to check the board when we arrived in the area it had our old reservations which were at different camp spots.
The board needs to be UPDATED DAILY. Last year we came and didn't have a reservation so checked the board and put our names on for a campsite and paid for it. When we arrived at the float in river camp spot it was already occupied by people that booked online and had their paperwork. So again the board wasn't correct and we ended up having to float all the way down to take out. It was very disappointing.

the green river is a very special place. the weather is very nice in the summer and reserved campsites hard to come by online. World class overnight raft, camp, and fish!

Beautiful and secluded stretch of river, it is a little slice of heaven! We will be back. Camping on the river was really nice.

The sign up board system for the float in campsites is not a good system.
