Camp host were the worst I ever experienced! And we have been camping there for years. The bathrooms were gross. According to the cleaning sheet they hadn't been cleaned for 10 days. I would guess more. There was no tissue in any of the ones we looked at when trying to find one that was usable. We had to clean the one closest to us before we could use it. The camp host site had signs up that said "closed" "no trespassing" "stay out" The only time we saw them was at night when they drove around trying to sale firewood.
Things improved some after we found the man in charged and complained to him. He took immediate action.

For the most part the campground is amazing. The restrooms hadn’t been cleaned in weeks (or it wasn’t documented) but they were extremely smelly with feces on the walls. The reservation tags were also not updated so when we had family trying to get the first come first serve spots, it was confusing.

Our group reserved the group site along with five adjacent individual sites—something we've done every year for the past two decades. Until now, we would have easily given a 5-star rating. Unfortunately, this year was a disappointment due to campground mismanagement, particularly the lack of an attentive camp host.
The restrooms were unacceptable: filthy, with no toilet paper in any of them. We had to clean the restroom closest to the group site ourselves and supply it with our own toilet paper.
Reservation signs hadn't been updated for several days and remained unchanged throughout our stay. The only time we saw the camp host was during evening rounds selling firewood from a vehicle. They appeared young and capable, yet took no action to address the restroom conditions. Often, a “restroom closed” sign was placed on the shower facilities—left there for a full 24 hours—without any visible maintenance, allowing the odor to build until the sign was finally removed.

My family has loved Mustang Ridge for nearly 40 years. This year’s visit was diminished by extremely gross bathrooms and showers. So much that it makes us consider another location.
