One of the best spots we’ve been in a while. Sites are well spaced, beauty everywhere, loved that we could navigate down to the water from our site. Can’t wait to come back!

Great campground with access to Flaming George. Lots of trees and shade. Spots are a little steep to back into but if you have a trailer under 26 feet you can make it work. The camping spots are fairly private and there is a pretty good distance between them.

Unfortunately, this campground is a very disappointing example of our National Forest! We spent a lot of our time picking up trash ALL over, in campsites, on the shore of the cove in and around the campground. The potty's were so full and disgusting so I guess that's why we saw human feces around. Dog poop everywhere too. Utah campgrounds are usually the best and soooo clean. So disappointing since this is such a beautiful place until you start to look around. Sad people using this place don't respect the forest.

The campground is in a lovely setting above the reservoir. Reservoir and canyon walls are stunning and crystal clear water! However, Sunny Cove day use area is NOT wheelchair accessible. I couldn't enjoy the beach and water with my family.

The bathrooms (out houses) could be cleaner as they were full of bugs and spiders. The showers do not drain well and the water is too hot and unchangeable. There are no one-way signs so the traffic gets stuck on the narrow roads. There are huge trailers that have very large slide-outs that go into the road making it difficult to drive through with a truck and trailer or boat. The swimming area has too much garbage from people leaving their crap from day use and camper use. The noise and quiet times are not enforced. There should be notices on the websites and posted at the campground on where you can fill your trailer with fresh water and where you can go to dump it as well as costs. You cannot get fresh water for trailers at the campground, just in buckets. We had to drive to Dutch John and pay to get fresh water for the trailer.

We had exceeded our expectations. The camp site was really great. The facilities of drinking water and hot showers add the importance of this campground. Its shady and safe.
I highly recommend families and friends to experience this campground.
