What Guests Are Saying

Box Elder Campground offers well-maintained sites with a friendly atmosphere and beautiful wooded surroundings, making it a favorite for many visitors. The campground hosts are generally helpful, and the facilities, including clean bathrooms and upgraded fire pits, add to the positive experience. However, some campers noted issues with space constraints for larger groups, limited access to drinking water, and the need for improvements in some facilities, such as picnic tables and restroom supplies.

Beautiful campground! Poppies weren’t blooming mid-May, but it was still a really nice spot.

It is a beautiful campground setting but the buildings etc look like they haven’t been painted or maintained for years. Also water was flowing out near the toilets with caution tape around it. Was it Latrine water or spring?!

4

Beautiful area. We loved all of the trees. We were sad that there was a lot of broken glass around the campsite. Also the cars driving from the group sites and back were going way to fast.

Box Elder Campground has become one of my favorites! Or site (10) was perfect. It was fully shaded most of the day and since we are tent campers, it was nice to have flush toilets & drinking water right across the road. The camp hosts, Scott & Stevie we're delightful! They were very friendly & knowledgeable. I enjoyed seeing them & visiting with them as they made their rounds each day!

Bathrooms and campground were clean! We had an infestation of wasps at our site but made it work. Noice ordinance was not enforced.
