Campground is overall very nice & the filtered drinking water & service sink are much appreciated extras! Some camp sites are way too far from bathroom. Protecting dark skies is a plausible goal but having no lights in bathroom is not practical. Given it's popularity and remote location, all sites should be reservable & number of sites should be expanded.

The campground in the Needles district of Canyonlands is one of the most breathtaking, as well as peaceful, places I've ever camped. The sandstone ledges that form the roof of each campsite are very special (though beware, they are porous and not entirely waterproof!). The gentle flow of natural grasses, red and white stone and sky is a like a changeable painting, every day. Short hikes afford panoramic views. Our camp host was obviously so pleased to be spending the summer here it made us even happier. Though it's pretty far from Arches, the Needles site makes a great home base for exploring that park if you can't get a campsite there.

What makes this place special is dark sky and it being so quiet. It is hard to realize how much noise we are subjected at any hour of the day until you are somewhere so quiet you could hear a whisper a mile away. I hope it doesn't become like so many other national parks

It was beautiful and peaceful here. I camped at B20 which was great - it had a far-off view of the mountains, easily accessible (very clean) bathroom, and was quiet. The trails were fun and beautiful and the scenic drive was gorgeous. Rangers were nice and informative. Definitely would stay here again

Good sites. Remote with Flush toilets. The needles district is about 90 min south of Mo-ab, so plan accordingly. Highly Recommend.

the views and the trail heads right by the campground were the best. Sunsets what can I say!
