I got a sweet parking spot and spent the night. I got an excellent recommendation for a hike (Wooden Spoon Big Creek) from the camp hosts who were very helpful and friendly. And the bathrooms were immaculate and sparkling clean! Overall an amazing experience.

Needles is one of my favorite campgrounds. Have stayed here three times, always a great experience. Plenty of space between sites allows for privacy and peace. Clean restrooms with running water. Great hiking trails, close to Elephant Hill. Love camping here, will return soon.

Site 22 is excellent. It has a shaded area against the rocks to keep cool during the heat of the day and two tent pad sites. It's easy to scramble up on nearby rocks for sunset views and is a short walk from the B Loop trailhead. Hiking from the trailhead over the rocks to A loop is quicker than walking the road. You can also deviate south to the cable route, gap and views, and down into Big Spring Canyon.

Great site (#25), very friendly and helpful camp host (Julianne). Only one hiccup with the restrooms due to a broken pipe, otherwise a great stay
