We had an excellent stay at Canyonlands. Very quiet, clean and scenic, of course. The Big Spring trail was phenomenal; thankful for the well maintained cairns to guide us.

One of the best National Park Campgrounds. Clean and beautiful plus the campsites are spread out for a little privacy.

Canyonlands, Needles District, is a desert-hiker’s dream destination. It’s not a drive-through park. The campground, while small is awesome. The park staff are dedicated, friendly, and happy to help.

Amazing campground! There is direct access to hiking trails or it's a short drive to the Elephant Hill trailhead. The bathrooms are clean and the sites are spacious with nice tent pads.

Site 17 is a nice, private site with two fairly good sized tent pads. It's very quiet. Only one other site (19) can be heard or seen, but it is pretty far away. You'll have easy access to the Elephant Hill Road/Trailhead so you can get there early and avoid any potential crowding. The only negatives are that the bathroom is also pretty far away and the traffic on the nearby Elephant Hill Road can be a bit busy in the mornings and evenings. Climb up the over-hanging rock for some great sunrise and sunset views.

What a beautiful park and unique campground. We really enjoyed our stay here. The campground was quiet, hosts were pleasant, bathrooms clean with access to water/dish cleaning/fish toilets. It was great to be away from the crowds at the other end of the park. It did not disappoint.
