I loved it! I did leave a day early because there was a group of load, unruly children that were very close to me. They should have booked one of the group sites. The campground host let it continue. Besides that I would highly recommend it!

Our stay at Fruita Campground was wonderful. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The landscape is beautiful, and the campground itself is very well maintained and scenic. We really enjoyed our time there and would love to come back again.

The campground was quite busy when I visited in August, yet it remained peaceful and free of disturbances. The host made several rounds each day and was consistently friendly and attentive. The paved, level sites are nestled among the trees, creating a comfortable and well-designed setting. Surrounded by stark, bare mountains, the campground feels like a true oasis, making the stay especially memorable.

It's very convenient to be inside the National Park. We visited in late November, and it was a cold night, (so bring extra bedding if you are tent camping and firewood - none is sold inside the park that we saw). The bathrooms in the loop I reserved (Loop C) closed for the season after I booked my reservation, so consider this if you are visiting in the off-season. Very quiet campground and park, we had the place nearly to ourselves!

Only 4 other campers in the campground. Was quite. Was nice to have heated bathrooms with flush toilets.

Beautiful spot with 6 or 7 other sites occupied. The 12 or 14 of us enjoyed the solitude, views and heated bathrooms.

I had such a lovely and peaceful one-night stay here, and it was so convenient for exploring the park. My campsite was in the C loop, and even with the restroom in that loop closed, the other restrooms were just a short walk away—and heated! I loved having a fire ring so I could make s’mores. The campground is perfectly situated to watch the sunset over the Pendleton Barn, or to enjoy a slow morning with coffee as the surrounding rocks light up with alpenglow. The horses even came to say hello- Coach T. was quite the flirt! The campground hosts were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, sharing suggestions on hikes, road conditions, BLM spots to camp in Hanksville, and even other recommendations in Utah and Colorado. Highly recommend!
