Love this park. It was relatively empty compared to months before. Talked with another camper and they said when you book it shows full but when you get there lots of spaces.
Also - lower tree limbs as well as though encroaching on road really need to be clipped.

Electrical problems on site we checked in Sunday evening we just finished sitting up camp and we did not have enough power to run our microwave or anything that was on 120 volts No one to call in the park they don't have any one to help the phone number was useless We packed up and came back home plugged in on my home outlet everything worked fine

From HWY 220, take the Bassett, VA exit onto HWY 57 West. Go approximately 10 miles to Goose Point Road. Look for brown Goose Point Park sign, turn right, then go 5 miles on a paved road to the park entrance.
Goose Point is accessible from HWY 220 via the Bassett exit, connecting to HWY 57 West.
Elevation: 323 feet
12 mi drive to downtown Bassett (about 20 min)
Policies & Rules
General
- Access road and park roads are hilly, winding and narrow and may be difficult for larger RVs to navigate.
- Two vehicles are allowed per campsite.
- A fee of $7/day will be charged for extra vehicles at the campground.
- Park gates closed
- Alcohol is prohibited.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- STOP THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES. Remove plants, seeds, animals, and mud from boots, gear, pets, and vehicles. Clean your gear before entering and leaving the recreation site. Stay on designated roads and trails, and follow local guidelines for firewood. CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY boats and any other recreational equipment that contacts water.
