Good campground. Water had been turned off for the season, so had to get at the campstore.

Stupid survey is not Apple friendly! Campsites are in poor condition, drive ways need resurfacing, campsites are not tent tent friendly. The minimal services and amenities provided are a sham. Don’t know where the increased fee funds are going but administration needs to get its act together!

We had a very relaxing weekend. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed visiting with the Rangers and some of the other campers. Everyone was very friendly. Plenty of places to hike around the campground. We watched the sun set on our last night there from the Appalachion Trail overlook in the campground.

The campsite was way smaller than expected but it worked for us since it was just me, my husband, and baby. The site only really fit our three man tent and will not fit any other tent. We were right next to the bathrooms which was exactly what I needed. This site had a bear locker which was extremely convenient as we expected to store all of our food in our vehicle during the trip. When we looked around the campgrounds we saw that most of the site had them but not all. All of the brush has blackberry bushes in it and we unfortunately missed the season but I’ll bet it’s great pickings during the month of June. Next time we go we might not pick this specific site but it definitely fit our needs.

Lovely campground- nice private tenting sites around the perimeter- I wish I knew how private they were when making reservations- esp #10-15. Nice and clean, great campstore, can walk to Wayside (1 mile) that had very good food.

We had an excellent stay, even in the rain. It allowed me the opportunity to have a nice chat with the Mark, the ranger, particularly about why he chose to become a park ranger himself.
