Had a fantastic time at loft mountain.
Facilities were clean and fully functional. Campground store was fully stocked with anything we needed to make the trip perfect.
The campsite was very well maintained and surprisingly bug free for our trip. Looking forward to our next trip here!

Only suggestion is to make it clear which sites have bear boxes and which do not. We didn't realize until we arrived that G194 does not have a box.
But bathrooms clean, trails well kept, staff friendly - will definitely be back!

The campsite was well done. You can fit 2 SUVs in the parking spots. There was lots of room to put multiple tents down if needed. I'd recommend a tent that is more "hotdog" style vs. Hamburger. You are not too far from the bathrooms so we brought our toddlers and and was fine.
It's not very clear on the website if you've never been but all the campsites are within easy earshot of each other. Interpret freely.

Great sites, pretty densely organized but more privacy than many other campgrounds in the park. Staff were helpful and kept a busy weekend running smoothly as far as we could tell.

Rented 3 tent sites for a group of 18. One of the sites was so tiny we couldn’t fit a tent there. The second one was just big enough for one 6-person tent, but the ground was sloped which made it really uncomfortable to sleep. The third one was big enough to fit 3 tents, so we made it work. I don’t understand the huge size variation between the sites. Perhaps list the capacity per site on the website?
Bathrooms were disgusting and small. Smeared feces in one stall was left there for the duration of our stay. Two stalls per bathroom meant we always had to wait to go. The showers were too far from the campground. Also, expensive and gross! Why did it smell like cat urine? Additionally, two out of the four men’s showers were out of order. Only four showers per gender for an entire campground.
We expected better from a national park.

Clean campground with lots of space but each site feels very private

I really appreciated the quiet no-generator area for my tent at Loft Mountain and I had one of the more secluded and grassy lots too.The camp-site and toilets were clean which was a relief. I enjoyed two 5 mile hikes and would appreciate a better map to show where the side trails off the Appalachian trail end up.

Loft Mountain Campground is so lovely and quiet, with lots of bunny rabbits and deer and an extremely beautiful amphitheatre overlooking a mountain range -- especially wonderful at sunset! There were a couple of issues with power outages during our stay; there was no running water at the campsite for the entire duration of our stay (we got an email notification en route and stocked up on bottled water) and even the local campstore lost power for 36 hours or so. Just be prepared that you might have a slightly more 'rustic' camping experience if you do make plans to camp here.
