The only negative thing about our trip was the water pressure in ladies showers was wreak. The bathhouse was very and well maintained. The cleaning are very nice and accommodating. They do an excellent job in keeping bathhouse clean. The outside cleaning crew also very friendly and does an excellent job in keeping camp ground clean. We really enjoyed the owl seminar, even though we didn't see one
Still very informative. The park ranger did an excellent job.

Great place with easy access to water for fishing, swimming, or boating. Cell service is ok for calls but not internet but that’s why we like to get away.

Nice campsites, very well maintained and clean bathrooms. Drunks, loud and vulgar sneaked in to camp next to me after hours but a ranger calmed them down and made them pay next morning. Great gate attendants both paid and volunteer.

Salthouse Branch is in a very secluded location so we didn't have any cellphone service. Check in at the guard shack was quick and easy. We located campsite #30 which may be the most secluded in the park. Our overnight stay was great and we will likely return in the spring or summer.

Always a great time when we go camping. Even though the water was low, our girls still enjoyed fishing (they waded thru the mud), playing at the playground, and seeing old friends. The trees were beautiful as well! Let's talk about the Halloween hype.. man, it was great! All of the Campsites were decorated, even had a haunted house at one and a movie theater at another, and everyone passed out treats to the kids! This is our home away from home!
