Enjoyed our stay. Location of site was very good.
The Wildcat hiking trail was quite strenuous as it was 1.5 to two miles up the mountain for the first part.
Had very limited cell service, if any at all.

We just found this gem looking for a place to stay while we were traveling to get home. One of the cleanest campgrounds. Beautiful views. No 5g , but who cares. Good water. Nice showers. Host and Rangers very nice. We will be back.

We loved this campground. The camp host, Melissa was the best! She worked really hard to keep all the sites neat and tidy and bathrooms and showers very clean! I've stayed in national park and national forest campgrounds all over the country, and the bathrooms were the cleanest I've ever seen. And they have running water and hot showers! Beautiful, quiet, tree-lined sites, mostly level. Very nice campground. We decided the hike the Wildcat Mountain Trail, and be warned if you do: it's strenuous! Do not attempt unless you are in good physical and cardiovascular condition! There is no cell signal in the campground and no hookups, but that made it easier to just disconnect and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and darkness while sitting by the campfire as the sun went down. We almost certainly will come back again!

Beautiful, quiet campground, spacious sites, clean facilities, gracious and helpful hosts. Weβll definitely camp there again next season! Lots of wonderful hiking trails nearby and in the campground, too! We enjoyed the Natural Bridge and exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway.
