Charbonneau Park and Campground is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained grounds, spacious sites, and friendly staff, making it a popular spot for relaxation and outdoor activities, particularly near the river. Many reviews highlight the park's cleanliness and peaceful atmosphere, with some recommending it for RV camping due to limited water hookups. Love your park and the staff. Our son lives in TC so we come every Father’s Day weekend. They come down on Friday evening for dinner and then they bring their boat on Saturday and we spend the day on the river. Thanks for running such a great park

Good location, but make sure to bring your receipt because they may not post a sign indicating you have reserved a gazebo.

What a great camping experience. Nice site. Lots of room and space between our site and other campers. We didn't feel squished in our site or that we might encroach in other campers space. It was nice having power and water at our site. Tree cover was more than sufficient and the landscape is very pretty.

I made a non-weekend reservation months ago and was able to obtain one of the 7 or so full-hook up sites for the trailer. Paved site with picnic table and fire ring. More sites have only electricity. The park is maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers contractor. Many trees on most back in spots. Drive through spots directly facing river. The hot sun settles in East which heats up the river spots and others without trees. Great boat launches onto the Snake River reservoir behind nearby Ice Harbor dam. I brought my boat and two different friends drove out from Richland on two days to bass fish. I later inflated my kayak and went for a paddle. Large public picnic area adjacent to boat launches with barbecue, great bathrooms and showers and designated swimming areas.

Charbonneau Park is a lovely camp grounds, boat launch, and day picnic swimming are. This time I stayed in campsite #47. I had a great view of the moored boats and Snake River BUT there are NO shade trees so my camper van was in full sun all day in 101 degree temperatures. Also, the circuit breaker kept tripping for 2 days. Very annoying in middle of night when AC would quite working. I dialed amp down to 20 and still had issues. I don’t advise staying in this spot. The campground host (aka the warden) would not let me check in until 2pm, which I get but it was 1:54 🙄 so I had to park in the overflow area for 6 minutes. I thought that was a bit ridiculous.
