What Guests Are Saying
Charbonneau Park and Campground is praised for its beautiful, well-maintained grounds, spacious sites, and friendly staff, making it a popular spot for relaxation and outdoor activities, particularly near the river. Many reviews highlight the park's cleanliness and peaceful atmosphere, with some recommending it for RV camping due to limited water hookups. While there are some concerns about understaffing and the need for restroom upgrades, overall, visitors express a strong desire to return and enjoy the park's scenic views and community feel.

Beautiful Park, but the Sprinkler management still needs major improvement. After setting the plugin sprinklers, with 20 minutes, they all drift counter clockwise.. watering the roads, cars, RV'S with phosphate filled water. And the Sprinkler guy is no where to be found.
It's the same story, year after year.
One big improvement, is that the rest of Staff this year, are nice as can be! ,ove you Guys!

We grabbed an available spot for one night. Our site (#28) was great - water view and shaded. Some sights are in full sun and would be miserable in summer heat. A large portion of a tree branch fell a few sites down from us. Several other trees need cleaned up and median grass was quite tall in some areas. Overall we enjoyed our overnight stay and got to see a beautiful sunset.

This campground was absolutely beautiful! The park was very clean and well-maintained, with spacious, level campsites that made setup a breeze. I really appreciated how peaceful and scenic the area was—perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the bathroom—it could use a little work. It wasn’t terrible, just could benefit from some updating.
Overall, I’d definitely come back and recommend it to others. Great experience!

It is a great place to watch river traffic. I would recommend Monday through Thursday if you're wanting quieter surroundings.

Beautiful campground. Lawns are nice and green with a nice marina. Camp hosts friendly and helpful. My husband didn’t bring his scooter as it says specifically, no scooters! But there were scooter everywhere!

Love your park and the staff. Our son lives in TC so we come every Father’s Day weekend. They come down on Friday evening for dinner and then they bring their boat on Saturday and we spend the day on the river. Thanks for running such a great park
