We love staying at hood park. But this year was not so good. The lady that checked us in was real friendly. But the guy that was takiing care of the check outs did a really bad job. The only thing he did was clean the fire pits. This was all year. The thing that was most inportant was washing the table. But they never washed the tables off. And there was trash all over the park. We will be back as it is our favorite place to stay that is close. Annd you dont have themsame people there every year. Wished you could get the people who was there last year they were great.

The place was great. Lots of trees and river view. The attendants were so kind, helpful and gracious. The park rangers were awesome too.

A nice CoE park that was built in the 1960's and has not been up dated. Only electric hook ups at sites, and only enter park after 1400 hours in the afternoon, even it the folks before you have left. Heavily used because of boaters and jet-skiers and hard to get reservations. Impossible to get drive up camp site.

Had a great time out there! Love the park... only thing that sucked was the spiders!!!!! Tons of spiders... they should have Akridge pest control come out there and spray those suckers!

It is a beautiful park with lots of trees and grass and it feels safe because the gate is closed at night.

SPIDERS SPIDERS SPIDERS!!!!!
We reserved 4 nights here and left after two because we had to do everything inside our camper, otherwise there were spiders (and not the little ones) on us, on our chairs, on our everything! Black spiders, red spiders, brown spiders and spider sprays don't work. After spraying the outside of our tent trailer within minutes they were back. They were hanging from the trees! And no matter what you left out, the were webs on them the next morning! I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE!!!!
