The place is nice but there are giant spiders all over the park,in the trees, in the tents uhggg, I could not sleep after finding them in our tents, also they cant give you a good idea were to put your tents for when the sprinklers come on and it was 2am in the morning my tent got hit and my bed was wet. Also my husband is loosing mobility and could not use a scooter,

The campsite was filled with ants - ant hills everywhere and clusters of ants surrounding the fire pit. The water was disgusting so no swimming and it smelled terrible. As soon as the sun went down there were an overwhelming amount of bugs - any amount of light caused a massive swarm. Didnt stay the second night due to the addition of the huge spiders that had covered our tents. Great campground in the past but this was a miserable, disappointing trip.

Clean park and bathroom/shower facilities. Lynda, Nate and the other camp host were so friendly. Janet, the Park Ranger was a kind presence though out our two week stay and added to the safe environment. Great park for families!

Quiet park. Swimming area isn’t the best because of distance and milfoil. Staff was good and courteous. Nice park, I’ll be back. FYI phone service was spotty. Only hookups were electric.

The facility manager was pleasant, but our RV camping was unexpectedly cut short because of site power outage which happened from the first day we were there - about 2-3x per day happening during the hottest part of the day. The site was not even full! The Corps of Engineers should not rent it to campers when the site cannot handle the power required. This problem should be corrected.

Lovely setting, nice grass. Tight roads and pull through sites. Hosts/rangers fixated on protecting the precious grass, but the pull through sites simply don't allow big rigs to stay completely on the pavement. The arcs are just too tight. Good 50 amp power in our site was welcome given the heat of July.
