The facilities were very nice and clean. I was disturbed by all the big black spiders dropping from the trees.

We are local but we like to camp Hood Park just to get away and relax by the water for a few days.

Our group had a great day using the day use shelter. We’ll be using it again.

One of the best parks I've ever been to. Waterside camp spot. All the amenities. Friendly staff. Beautiful view. Convenient. Good value. Loved it.

We were in a pull thru spot along the river. beautiful view. August is hot here but with the trees and the river, we were very comfortable. Also had a true wood-burning campfire. Bring your own wood.

Geese everywhere. They are taking over the park which is sad because they leave poop everywhere including the swim area.

We enjoy our visit each year, but the geese have taken over the campground and swimming areas. They are dirty and leave poop everywhere. We didn't have a problem with the electricity this year; but the last year near the swim area, we lost power and it was hot outside. These sites need 50 AMP outlets. Otherwise, we like the primitive sites with just electricity.
