Beaver was a wonderful camps site for our family holiday weekend getaway. It was great to unplug from the world and become one with nature. We enjoyed the trails and local scenery and went fishing nearby. It was the beginning of a new family tradition. Kevin was awesome and provided us with some nice options for activities. We'll be back!

Restroom were very dirty - No Toilet paper - Beings we rented the group site for 3 days host said we could come in a night early at single rate. We got there and set up and she said we had to pay the group site nightly fee. So our night cost $124.00. - No Water - No garbage cans - No garbage bags - The whole park was in need of cleaning after the group before us. - Camp host was ALWAYS GONE for 2 or 3 days at a time. Could never get a chance to ask questions. - We have been coming to Beaver a long time. This was our 27th year. Never seen it this bad. Last year was bad but this year was awful. Really need someone to clean up the place and take pride in the campground. When I tried to make reservations for next year had to get them to release the schedule to make reservations a year in advance.

This campground has potential but is was not well run while we were there. The campsites are generally well spaced and there is a lot of understory so privacy was okay. This is mainly a tenting campground. Very small trailers would fit in some sites. Medium/big trailers would need to pay for the double sites to get the long driveway.
Ours is a 21'ft (25ft overall) trailer. We did fit in site 13 nicely. Site 17 or 20 might work but other than that, we would need one of the double sites. The host was nice when we arrived and let us switch spots from #6 that we had reserved to #13 FF, so our equipment would fit. However the bathrooms, all of them, had no TP when we arrived Sat, until Wed night when somebody came and stocked them. They did not do anything else however like update the reserved signs which were all out of date now and clean the bathrooms. We saw the hosts when we arrived Sat and never saw them again. We left on Friday of Labor Day Weekend. The campground was quiet during the week but Thursday night people started filing in for the long weekend and none of the tags had been updated. People came into our site to ask us what was going on but we couldn't help them as we had no cell service. The reader board does not list which sites are FF as some are reservable and some our not. All of the water spigots were capped except one at the south end of the campground. This included the one in the field that another review said was threaded for us trailers to fill a water tank. So you will need an adapter for the non-threaded faucets. We had one luckily. River was accessed through the cul-de-sac near site 16. It was not beach like and is rocky. On a side note, group site 2 looked quite spacious with room for about 3 trailers plus several tents. The water was also capped there. Group site one looked terrible to me being much smaller, less shaded and grp 2 driving by. Nearest dump station Skamania Fair Grounds $5.00.

Clean campground. Unfortunately just one water outlet is open and 7 or so have been plugged. Two or three spots would be able to accommodate RVs up to 35β or less. Quiet place. Very refreshing creek is at the end of the loop. Carson is only 8 minutes away if youβre in a need of groceries/gas. Lotsa spots along the highway to buy firewood. Park host also sells firewood. Main restroom has flushable toilets with sinks.

Great location close to Falls Creak Falls and the Wind River. Bathrooms were clean and the camp was quiet. Also, no issue with bugs. Would have been nice if the Forest Service would have opened up a couple more water spickets.

I love the grounds! Been there 3x's, but this last visit was a bit unpleasant and lacked peace and quiet. Way too many kids and car alarms going off at odd hours. People were really loud after 10pm. Felt like I was in the city! π

We go here every year and this year they didn't have the water turned on so it was a royal pain to have to haul in our own water. It was something about staffing issues and delays on getting the water tested. Of course they did get it turned on after we left but it was still a bummer. Let's hope they have their act together next year.
Besides the water issue, camping was still fun.
