What Guests Are Saying

The Oklahoma Campground features a beautiful location with spacious sites, respectful campers, and a friendly host. The facilities are well-maintained, including clean restrooms, although the single water pump and limited privacy at the campsites pose challenges. While access to the nearby river is somewhat restricted, the campground remains a peaceful spot even during busy holiday weekends.

This is a small campground at the end of the pavement, some sites are close together and some spread out, we really liked this site. Its very big, plenty of tent spots, the little creek is just over the bank and the clean bathroom is just across the way. no phone service for US Cellular, but can get service just by driving down the road to the Moss Creek Campground area. very quiet while we were there. The friendly camp host, who stays at Moss Creek, comes through 3-4 tines a day.

We had a great experience at OK campgroun d. Hosts Vicky and Jason were welcoming and had firewood for sale at morning and night. They also carried dog treats which helped our puppy’s first camping trip go even better! The sites are spacious and the toilets clean. Overall great place!

Clean, well kept, friendly host. A 4 instead of a 5 because the sites were so dusty. Will stay again!

We camped at site 004, which is next to the well pump for [potable] water and adjacent to 005. No one camped at 5 while we were there (just one night), which was nice because the sites are almost shared in the way they’re set up. Both are right along the river, which was quite loud at night. (I enjoyed the white noise, while my husband found it to be a little less enjoyable but didn’t keep him up.) The camp was very dark at night and otherwise quite. Bathrooms were clean and the camp hosts were excellent, even letting us borrow a rake to clear fallen pine needles! We bought wood bundles and they burned well.

We camped at #8 because it was the only one available, and even tho it does not say tent, just trailer, we managed to put two tents in the space. The campground map is a little misleading, it's not on a loop, the road ends right there, but we really liked that as no one could drive by. The closest neighbors is #7, and their fire ring and table was pretty close to ours, both spaces together would be good for a group. Overall had a great weekend, it was quiet, but never met the camp host, wasn't even sure if there was one. Oh, it was hard to find a path to the water.

We spent 2 nights at the Oklahoma campground in July 2020. We had a great experience but wish there was more access to the river. The campground was pretty quiet and is beautiful. Mosquitos weren't too bad. We were able to get our 34' Fifth wheel into our spot - make sure you check the site dimensions to determine if your RV will fit.

Campsite are closer together than the campground map made it appear. Luckily our neighbors were gone often throughout the day. Mostly quiet. No walking creek access
