What Guests Are Saying
Fort Spokane is praised for its beautiful, spacious campsites, clean facilities, and friendly camp hosts, making it a great spot for family camping and outdoor activities like fishing and hiking. Many visitors appreciated the quiet atmosphere and easy access to amenities such as water and boat ramps. However, some concerns were raised about noise from partying campers, availability of toilet paper, and the need for more law enforcement presence. Overall, the campground offers a pleasant experience, especially for those looking for a peaceful getaway.

Although there was no camp host there...the campground was quite and very clean. I'm a fisherman so I get up early so the folks that are up till 200 am partying are a major reason why I try to avoid this camp ground in the summer months.

We arrived and having surveyed the site decided not to stay. The campground is very open under the trees. Our site was on the west edge and would have been in full sun all afternoon. And although many sites have pull-through loops, our parking site was just a wide spot in the road with no separation from traffic. It's too bad you have to reserve sites in advance with limited information as there were some apparently open sites that would have been acceptable.

Ranger obnoxiously scolded my husband, Veteran I must add, for our dog barking. We showed up later and when we arrived kids were excited and dog. But, the Ranger expressed to us that our dog was barking all night. This was not only a lie, but complete disrespect. So, we left and I don’t think I will ever go back there again. I guess, this has happened to multiple people. Also, although they will complain about your dog barking…. Everyone can run a generator 24/7 and that noise is allowed.

Had a great time at Fort Spokane! Hiked all around the campground then to the Fort. We hiked the Bluff trail and saw awesome views. Will be back to camp!

Most services were still closed for the winter so hard to evaluate.

Nice site but your trailer door will be on the wrong side. We backed in an were fine because it’s close to the front. Sites here are a bit strange like that. Some are super tight and not doable even though they say pull through. #11 was not possible to pull through with our 27’ plus truck.
