We had fun, we went camping! in a campground. So there was other campers. Fort Spokane campground now has pavement. Some of the campsites were obviously designed to back into. Since the pavement, now you are not allowed to get off the pavement. Makes some of the sites a little odd. Like sites 30-33. MUst see is the river.

The mid-week campers are well behaved, mainly retirees and diligent fishermen, but come the weekend every yahoo and dimwit that has never been in a campground before shows up with no campground etiquette or camping Know-how. Yelling brats, illegal fireworks and displays of outright stupidity all experienced from or campsite. I mean really, don’t you know not to shoot arrows with a bow in side the campground? Especially straight in the air! J.H.C!
The weekend also brings out the RV‘rs that can’t figure out how to maintain their batteries life and run generators all freekin‘ day long.

Camp host was a horses ass!! We hadn’t even parked our truck and camper and was making sure we knew the rules, then the next evening came into our camp to tell us we couldn’t use rolled newspaper to start our campfire! After working for many yrs with DNR, I’ve never experienced such a over barring host. Couldn’t wait to leave. Doubt if we’ll return
