What Guests Are Saying
Fort Spokane is praised for its beautiful, spacious campsites, clean facilities, and friendly camp hosts, making it a great spot for family camping and outdoor activities like fishing and hiking. Many visitors appreciated the quiet atmosphere and easy access to amenities such as water and boat ramps. However, some concerns were raised about noise from partying campers, availability of toilet paper, and the need for more law enforcement presence. Overall, the campground offers a pleasant experience, especially for those looking for a peaceful getaway.

again the main bathrooms where not open and the camp was full but yet the Evans camp ground had the water on and the bathrooms open and trash cans out
Fort spokane did not have water on and not trash can at all and the bathrooms where not open for the 3rd yr
Seems odd that we have no place to put our trash yet you want the parks to be kept clean HOW???? AND again for the 3rd yr we ran out of toilet paper. seems odd when the camp ground was FULL.....................

Great campground with lots of trails just off of it. Good spacing between sites so that you are not right on top of each other. Most sites had plenty of flat space to pitch a tent as well as easy parking for and RV. I stayed in campsite 14 which had no level ground and the frw areas level enough to place a twnt only would fit a small one. I have a 2 person tent so that was fine. I would reccomend the site for a backpack camper as the tress would make it tight to pull through a larger RV or trailer. If you can for a tent I'd choose a different site. A small tent would be fine but a larger one will leave you sleeping completely on the hillside instead of a remotely flat area.

We come to this location every year in March. It is usually very quiet with only about 5 to 6 others in the campground. This year the weather was really good so a lot of people come out for the weekend. It was still very quiet and people were respectful to others. The spots are big enough for our 32’ fifth wheel but of course some are way too small but that’s to be expected. It a great campground.

I was a little disappointed that the visitors center was closed. Perhaps I misread the website, but I still have the printout (printed within the last 1 1/2 months) that says that off-season hours are 11 to 3 Friday through Sunday. Yet, the place had completely shut down for the winter season. Or maybe the website is confusing and I misread it The times are placed right under “Visitor Center Off Season September 4 — May 25”
Anyway, the campground was pretty good and I enjoyed hiking around the area.

Campground was beautiful and with few other campers there (end of September). VERY FRUSTRATING to have to do our reservation / pay on-line when there's no reception at the park! Ended up camping without paying...and then paying for a campsite the next day online when we had reception (even though we were already home by that point...just wanted to pay for what we had used).
Please CHANGE THE POLICY and allow payment at site!!!

Pull through site we chose was very tight with trees very close. We only had a 20' trailer and had to get a different site. Restrooms were clean.
