What Guests Are Saying
Evans Campground offers a fun and picturesque camping experience, with clean facilities and friendly hosts. Many guests appreciated the beautiful river views, well-maintained sites, and easy access to amenities. However, some noted issues with bathroom cleanliness, low water levels for boating, and a lack of camp host presence, which affected rule enforcement.

Great time. Site 7 not good trailers. No room for our tow vehicle. To tight spaces. Good gor tent camping only. Sewer dump overflowed and bio-hazard for 3 days.

We were unfortunately next to a group that occupied 3-4 campsites and had about 30+ people. They also had friends that joined them during the day until around 10pm everyday. They had many games going on with all the noise included. Games like volleyball, disc games etc. and they kept encroaching on our campsite. Felt like we had gone to a sporting event all day long. Funny thing is, there are 2 area they could have taken their games to. The big field to the north of the campsites, that used to have volleyball nets there years ago, or the day use park, to the south of the campground. There wasn’t a camp host this time, so no one was there to manage the place. We are due to go back for the 4th and again on Labor Day to the same spot in the campground. I sure hope they aren’t back too. If so, will be making a complaint to the ranger if there isn’t a host.
