This was the first time we have been to the Kettle Falls Campground. We had a great spot along the river. Bathrooms were a bit rustic. Lots of wildlife in the area.

I have visited this campground annually in the fall when I pass thru the area on Hwy 20 on a motorcycle trip from Everett to Coeur d'Alene ID, It is a convenient distance for a stop. It is at the end of the traveling season for most folks, and I like it that there are very few folks staying there when I am there. I understand that I am experiencing the place at the end of a busy season, probably before fall clean-up and maintenance happen. The camp spots are usually littered with small garbage such as bottle caps, plastic and metal, bits of paper, wrappers, all kinds of stuff. I will typically spend some time cleaning up the ground a little before setting up camp. Restrooms are adequate. When I arrived, the door was propped open on the nearest restroom, and it was a big mess. However, someone apparently came by and hosed it out later, as the door was closed and it was clean and usable. It's a bargain to stay there as a senior. It's very quiet and private at that time of year, but I always forget how noisy that nearby mill is 24 hours a day. No matter. I like the place and will come again. Thanks!

We had another great 10 days relaxing at Kettle Falls campground. The only downside is the lack of visible maintenance personnel. The fish cleaning station being out of order all summer made cleaning our catches a challenge as well.
