Great campsite with lake access from the shore or the boat ramp. The campsites and roads in the loops are a little tight/ small. Was able to maneuver our 30 camper in our site for camping.

Love the location of this campground but I really wish they would put a little money into it. Some sites are hard to maneuver a trailer into with the over growth of trees. The trailer pads are surprisingly level though very narrow. The sites themselves have a great view but be prepared for the extremely fine dirt to be everywhere. Also, I really wish there was an area for swimming that was easy to access.

Trip was good. Views of the river from the edge of the campsites was pretty. Not the easiest to traverse down to the water for swimming, but possible in a few spots. Be aware of this if you have little kids or individuals with disabilities wanting to swim.
Bathrooms ran out of handsoap at times but were refilled within the day.
Our group also took the walk to the trailhead south of the Marina there. The walk was pretty and crosses 3 bridges, but the little waterways along the trail were all dried up by early August. Still lots of mosquitoes through the woods there. Bring bug spray if you adventure over to the trail! We stopped at the picnic area and swim beach (also dried up) at the first checkpoint of the trail and turned around to come back to the campsite via the road.

We stayed in site # 10. We like KF Campground. We enjoy hiking and biking in the area. We had good cell service and the campground was quiet and the restrooms were clean. The previous campers left trash in the fire pit which we cleaned up and put in the dumpster. Other than that it was perfect.
