The staff was amazing working to move our reservation around to accommodate our limited backcountry permits. We did have to move our site right off, but did not have to come out of the backcountry just to move mid stay.
The bathrooms were well maintained. Water and the dump station would have been a huge plus, but it was closed for maintenance I assume.
Our only criticism is that many to most of the RV lots are not very level. We had 7 inch disparity in the site A013 from side to side. It was very difficult to level and we still had a slope with all our leveling gear employed. Not sure if the sites could be graded a bit, but that would really improve the site for RVs.

Be aware that after labor day couger rock campground closes loops. If you have a reservation on Labor day in loops B,C, or D and want to stay another day - they close those loops the next day and you will have to move. To move you will have to battle about 30 other campers and get in line at 6am the next day to get a site as they move everyone into A, E, and R loops.

The campsite is clean and at a convenient location. There is no water and no electricity at the site but public restrooms are available in the campgrounds. There is no shower though. There were quite a few mosquitos at the sit at dusk.

The rangers at the campground were super nice and helpful! The facilities were clean and the campsite was private and cozy. The only bummer was how long it took to get into the park both times (first to enter via Nisqually then back through White River) but while in the park things were smooth sailing. The Henry Jackson Visitor Center had a lot of easy hikes and great views and would recommend checking it out!
