Other than the minor inconvenience of no water ( brought our own, we were notified in advance) we had a great time. Been coming here for over 40 years. A lot reserved sites with no shows. This has become a problem the last few years and needs fixed. Will be back again.

Fantastic stay! Only the sound of other campers generators was a drawback.

This is a terrible campground and i don't think anyone should go there when I am there :)

We love this campground for all the giant trees and the river with the great blue hole swimming area.. The pit toilets were a little smelly, It would be nice if they would build regular bathrooms with running water.

La Wis Wis is a lovely campground set in old growth forest next to a stream. There is swimming at Blue Hole, nearby. The sites vary in size from small to very large but it isn't clear what size they are when you book so be aware.
Site 22A is nice but very small. I think it would be good for a single tent. In a pinch, you can put down 3 tents but it is not optimal.

This Site is my favorite in the entire campground, river access and partial shade is a great touch. Staff was very kind and helpful

Campground is in a beautiful setting. Sites are adequately spaced. Bathrooms are pit toilets, most are in good condition. Quiet hours are very limited, allowing people to run generators all day. Campground host is pretty checked out, allowing people to keep their generators running all day without being there.

We love this campground. Our favorite day trips are the Snow & Bench lake hike. Of course all the hikes at Paradise. We also like hiking in to Packwood lake for the day. The Silver Falls loop trail is always amazing and the Grove of the Patriarchs is also worth seeing.

There was no water supply, so we had to bring our own water and use it sparingly. The clean pit toilet was a long way off...312 steps each way. We weren't really prepared for the several high 80s - low 90s days, so we suffered a bit in the heat. Other than that, we had a wonderful time there.

The site is very shaded, it was nice to get out of the heat but a little too dark. The spot for the tent is a little sloped. But close walk to bathroom and river sites.
