We have camped here for nearly a decade and love coming back every year. The rangers are so friendly and knowledgeable. The ranger class is always great!

Our site at Ohanapecosh campground was absolutely beautiful. Towering mossy trees surrounded the site and aquamarine colored river ran next to us, which was very soothing for sleep. Site was well equipped with concrete picnic table and fire circle. Bathrooms were clean and easily accessible with fresh water available as well. Ohanapecosh provided easy access to the short hot spring trail, and the silver falls trail. The falls were stunning, lots of power. Definitely an experience I would suggest!

Great site! The silver falls trail runs behind it so be prepared to see people behind the campsite and E8 is really close to this site.

What a gem of a campground and an even better campsite.
A21 is set by itself on high ground. A short downhill walk to the river. Falling asleep to the sounds of the river. Check. Waking up to the sounds of the river. Check. The driveway can be tricky for backing in and leaving (might take a couple reracks). Overall amazing site, beautiful view. Guy sells wood for $7 a bundle and it includes some kindling. He shows up later in the day and makes 2 pass through. I wish he had a bell of some sort to alert us he is driving through. We missed him a couple times.

We had prepared our eager 7&10 year olds for an educational, interactive Ntl. park experience similar to ours in the past. We expected presentations by rangers, group hikes, etc. but the ampitheater was deconstructed and there were no evening activities. The falls loop was a great hike for families with kids leaving from the campground. The facilities were getting run down, one bathroom was closed due to a broken septic pipe and the backup bathroom had a leaky sink pipe with an overflowing 5 gal bucket catching the drips. Bathrooms were unclean and smelled strong. Firewood was overpriced ($7 for 4-5 small pieces). Beautiful, quiet and cool on a hot day under old growth trees.

Beautiful campsite near the river. Only downside was the numbskulls playing loud music… sigh.

I needed to cancel my 2 night reservation within a day of arrival. It was impossible to figure out how to cancel via the website and when I searched for the ranger station's phone number, Google listed the incorrect phone number and I was never able to get in touch to cancel my site. Sadly, this probably meant at least one night this site went used. Hopefully someone was able to use it the second night of our reservation as demand for camping is high.
Please include the ranger station's phone number on the email confirmation sent a few days before arrival.
