This site was beautiful and close to the restrooms. It was a fairly open site and not a very private, however we loved loved the beautiful towering trees so much it didn't bother us.

Beautiful campground, very quiet at night despite having a large number of campers present. Our campsite C22 had a wonderful trail to the river which could be heard from our tent. We would love to stay at this site again.

The campground itself is nice. I was a little disappointed that there weren't more trails out of the campground. It seems that most of the other activities in Mt. Rainier National Park are a good hour drive away. This is the only campground we stayed at in the park, so I can't compare it to others. However, next time I would choose a different campground.

Convenient location for access to both corridors. Spacious and private campsites, very shady. Bathrooms were buggy compared to other campsites in the national parks

This campground is beautiful and it's nice to have the visitor center, access to hikes and the river right there. The bathrooms are outdated and overused probably, but it really didn't matter since we loved the rest of the campground so much. We loved walking down to the river and playing in the water or just sitting and listening to the sound of it.

We've been camping at Ohanapecosh for over 40 years and never get tired of it. We pitched two 9x9 tents at site D10. The tent pads sloped a bit, but we compensated by sleeping with our heads uphill. The parking pad is just barely big enough for two cars. This site is on a hill overlooking fallen logs and a creek that flows into the Ohanapecosh River. Our grandchildren (11 and 13) had a wonderful time climbing on the logs and exploring the creek bed. The short hike to scenic Silver Falls is perfect for families with children. We appreciate the revisions that have been made in the reservations system, making it easier for families to plan a camping trip within a shorter window of time.
