What Guests Are Saying
The Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort Campground offers a great location near beautiful hiking trails and the hot springs, making it an ideal base for outdoor adventures. Many reviewers praised the cleanliness of the facilities, friendly staff, and peaceful atmosphere, especially during less crowded seasons. However, some noted that the RV parking area felt cramped and lacked restroom facilities, with close proximity between campsites leading to occasional noise from neighbors.

The gravel parking lot that was the rv park was underwhelming and crowded, but more problematic was the lack of bathrooms anywhere closer than a 10 minute walk (either to the resort, which was closed between 9:30pm and 7am) or to the tent campgrounds. Would not recommend for anyone who wants to spend time outside their trailer and doesn't have a toilet in their camper.

the prices have increased (for what??), the showers and changing rooms were inaccessible for the 2 days i was there, the water was dirtier than usual, waiting in long lines often with only 1 staff person helping too many people. the water bottle filling station had a red light indicating filters needed to be changed, i informed a staff person and the next day it still wasnt changed. not enough lights over the covered walk way by the pools at night. overall, really disappointed with the direction this place is going and will be going less. would love to see aramark go away and have it run by good local people who know how to run a hot spring with soul.

Decent hiking and scenery within a walk from the campsite, although the facilities were lacking aside from the pool/ hot springs which was large enough to accomodate the late-afternoon surges and also quite clean. I would visit again, but might suggest swings, horse shoes, corn hole, something more for the kids.

If staying at the RV campsite make sure your toilet is working or know there is no public bathrooms right there. You could walk to the resort which has hrs of operation or the loop campgrounds.

We love Sol Duc and have been several times. This time though, we were extremely disappointed in the upkeep of the pools- the water was filthy, there was ‘trash’ along the pool edge (clumps of hair, band aids, broken hair ties- same trash in the same place 3 days in a row! $18 for a 90 min session is a lot to pay for a pool that isn’t being cleaned. Sad to see the change.

The campground is very busy - as we were there in peak season. But, what a zoo. The campsites where we were in loop B were practically on top of each other. You could hear every conversation being had 3 campsites away. Some sites only able to accommodate a 1-2 person tent. We were in a site considered a "quad" so charged more. There was space for 1 tent - max and the ground was not flat. There was 1.5 picnic tables - 1 full one and 1/2 broken one. The Men's/Women's restrooms were closed 'for repair' so about 30 people shared the 'family' single restroom. Very poor service, execution and presentation on ONP's part.
