What Guests Are Saying
Walupt Lake Campground is praised for its stunning lake, ample outdoor activities like hiking and swimming, and well-maintained facilities, including clean bathrooms. Many visitors appreciate the spacious and quiet campsites, making it a peaceful retreat. However, some concerns include rough access roads, a lack of potable water, and the recent shift to a pack-in/pack-out policy for trash.

Other than a couple families not picking up after themselves along the beaches it was an excellent place for camping with a little one. My 3 year-old caught his first Rainbow Trout. The restrooms were cleaner than expected. It would have been nice if the water was working, but they did a good job of letting us know ahead of time. We went the backway on the way in (Ashford), and the google maps (Packwood) way on the way out. The backway was a lot smoother which was nice since we were pulling a boat.

I love this place and this campground. Close to the lake and Goat Rocks wilderness. Win-win
