What Guests Are Saying
Bonaparte Lake Campground is a beautiful, well-maintained site in a remote area of NE Washington, offering great access to the lake for swimming, fishing, and boating. Campers appreciate the friendly hosts, clean facilities, and ample space at campsites, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings and outdoor activities. While some concerns were raised about noise from unruly campers and the distance to dumpsters, the overall experience is positive, with many planning to return.

We loved the lake! Our Campspot was very nice as well!! If I had any complaints we did have a decent problem with bees 😔 they did have bee traps or whatever setup which may have actually been attracting them to our site? Not sure but if your allergic be careful this year. The only other problem I had was unleashed dogs running up on us in our own camp spot. If I didn’t have my own dog with us I probably wouldn’t have cared. But my dog is on a lead and very well secured having a big German Shepard running up on him multiple times in our area was not a great experience for him. Even with those couple of issues we will probably be making this one of our yearly go to spots for quite lake camping!!

This place is so magical. Nestled in a lovely forest far from anywhere it is the perfect getaway. After the fabulous camp host, Jim, the haunting loons, and the peaceful setting, my favorite feature is the complete lack of cell coverage. Except for its camera feature, my phone becomes powerless over me. I love it. I would highly recommend this destination for a total vacation.
And don't forget to hike the trail to the overlook on the west side of the lake. It is four miles round trip and is well worth the effort.

Absolutely beautiful location, nice and quite, friendly host are just a few of the reason I will be making the 8 hr drive to stay at this location again!
I recommend staying in the loop if at all possible, great views of the lake!
Thank you!
Ps, no cell service and totally worth it!

This is a very nice campground. The bathroom was clean and there was no litter around. Our site was very spacious as were the others in our loop.

Very nice place and location. Well managed with great camp host, friendly but not overbearing and understands the local nature attractions.

Ww have been vacationing at Bonaparte since our son was 5 years old and now we get to vacation there with him and his family. Our grandkids love Bonaparte. Great memories made every time. We were there this time during the flash flood. We are saddened for the Rose family.
