What Guests Are Saying
Lower Falls Campground features spacious, well-maintained campsites with ample shade and beautiful riverside views, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. The breathtaking nearby waterfalls and numerous hiking trails enhance the camping experience, although the campground lacks adequate water stations and has issues with cleanliness in the bathrooms. Overall, visitors appreciate the serene environment, helpful camp hosts, and the opportunity to disconnect from technology in a picturesque setting.

Should have read about amenities more. No provided water that we could find. Road in requires slower speeds...maps is correct when it say 20 miles takes 45 minutes. Download a return trip from Google maps also...no service to get a return map....great place...beautiful scenery. Worth the drive. Take everything you need. No services for an hour.

It was very nice staying. For people who wants to go I recommend book before you go there because you will probably don't find anyone to check you in. That what I did.

Amazing!!!! Falls and the surrounding hiking area is definitely a must see!!
We were at site 7 on the lower loop and didn’t expect to be camped basically right on top of the falls! It’s like a 2-3 minute hike to the lookout area.
The sites are well wooded although not super private and we saw a lot of RVs, so they’re spacious as well.
As of end of may, 22 - There is no potable water - pump on lower loop is Out of Order and the upper loop pump water was yucky.
The bathrooms near us weren’t bad but the campground was mostly empty. They did run out of TP the day before we left, we were there Tue-Fri right before Memorial Day.
The last few miles of the road up is a bit rough so be prepared for a lot of dips and potholes.
Overall an amazing area, great campsite and a really scenic drive!
Enjoy!

Beautiful campground. We dry camped in site 8 in 5th wheel travel trailer and it appeared most sites were large enough to accommodate.

This is a very nice remote campground on a beautiful river with many fantastic waterfalls within a short hike. The campground has no services other than the vault toilet (no running water). Potable water is available at a hand-pumped well.

Loved this campground and our spot in particular was awesome. The best part is the proximity to the lower falls which is beautiful and a very short walk. The bathrooms were very clean. The sites seemed to all have plenty of space between one another but we loved spot 2 because of how secluded it was. Really well maintained and peaceful. We cannot wait to come back!

Nice campground located near the beautiful lower lewis falls with the option to hike to the middle and upper falls on a well maintained trail.
