What Guests Are Saying
Lower Falls Campground features spacious, well-maintained campsites with ample shade and beautiful riverside views, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. The breathtaking nearby waterfalls and numerous hiking trails enhance the camping experience, although the campground lacks adequate water stations and has issues with cleanliness in the bathrooms. Overall, visitors appreciate the serene environment, helpful camp hosts, and the opportunity to disconnect from technology in a picturesque setting.

Excellent level paved driveway spacious dry camp sites. Scenic beautiful river and falls right next to the lower loop, a stones throw from the upper. Relatively easy hikes to falls further up river or drive to parking lots for shorter walks. Our only complaint would be that the camp host apparently has no access to the reservation system so he doesn't really know what sites are available for walk up.

Awesome except you couldn’t have a fire in an area where there was no way of a Forrest fire.

Lower Lewis River falls campground was a good stay . Not the cleanest camp and no shower's Available but private sights and good Host.
The falls is Beautiful if you go down to the falls fallow the trail to lower ground before trying to get down the hill . The signs don't State that enough...
The Road getting there has a lot of Dips go slow. Over all I would go there again

Camp ground was clean, quiet and being so close to the lower falls was amazing! The river walk was gorgeous as well. Hiked the middle and upper falls and only saw a handful of other hikers on the way. On our way out we stopped in and experienced the Ape caves. Another unique hike through 1 1/2 miles of 2,000 yr old lava tube. Our kids though it was super cool. We will be back to camp next year for sure.

Our only issue was in choosing available campsites. Only 2 were shown open on the website, when we arrived nearly half were empty. We stayed in the site we had reserved, but would have preferred some of the open campsites. Camp was clean and quiet, the staff very professional and friendly.
