What Guests Are Saying

Lower Falls Campground offers spacious, shaded campsites that provide a sense of privacy and are well-maintained. Campers appreciate the close proximity to the stunning Lower Falls and numerous hiking trails, contributing to a peaceful and scenic experience. However, some improvements are needed, such as additional water stations and better restroom facilities, as well as addressing overcrowding during peak times.

We camp here one a year. We loved our campsite this year. It was large site and tree covered. It also has 2 tables on site. One of them was missing a bench on one side. That table was perfect for staging and cooking leaving the other table for relaxing and eating. See you next year

After a few days of rain at our other campsite we arrived here on a sunny beautiful day. The campsites were big and well spaced and the short hike to the falls was absolutely awesome. The facilities and trail were well maintained.

Bring ear plugs with you if you expect to get any sleep. We had neighbors who talked loudly well into the early hours of the next morning. Why did I need to print my reservation? No campground official ever bothered to check if we really paid for the privilege of camping at this campground. A large party on the other side of us just trashed the outhouse...they smoked in there, unrolled the TP onto the floor, and tore the deodorizer off the wall each day a new one was placed in the structure. Why is it that bums feel entitled to display such poor behavior in a National Forest Campground? The Lower Falls Campground is really a beautiful site. It's a shame people who do not comprehend the concept of civility can't find some other place to display their poor behavior.
