Campers appreciate the close proximity to the stunning Lower Falls and numerous hiking trails, contributing to a peaceful and scenic experience. However, some improvements are needed, such as additional water stations and better restroom facilities, as well as addressing overcrowding during peak times.

I was delayed by 3 hours to get to my spot as someone had not left that camp site and was no where to be found according to the camp host and nothing was offered to me to come in and hang, park, or an offer of another site temporarily. When I finally did get to my site I was pre-arranged to stay at designated site and it was next to a site that had over 15 people 3 tents, kids, adults and dogs and they went hard all night and through the early morning hours of 3am. There was no response from anyone to keep them to adhere to the quiet times of the camp. It was a very horrible experience and they need to get it together in there to maintain order and accommodate those, like me that drive over 6hrs to get there. Trash was overflowing on tops of garbage cans, all throughout the trails and my site was full of campfire debris not maintained or cleaned.

Took my 7 and 11 year old boys here in early August and absolutely loved it. Lower level falls was amazing. It wold water but the kids swam anyways. Be super careful on the road in Because of the serious potholes and crazy dips in the road..seriously take it slow on that road. Clean camp site, quiet, bathrooms stayed clean but we did go on a weekday. FYI this place is crazy hard to get a reservation but there are some other non reservation spots along the road and creek just up the road that looked nice for the adventurous type

This is my childhood favorite camping spot. There is no place like it. Iβm completely blown away, however, at the traffic and number of people flocking here. It canβt be good for the environment.
