What Guests Are Saying
Big Pines Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting along the Yakima River, with spacious sites and excellent access for river activities and nearby hiking. Guests appreciate the clean restrooms and the serene environment, ideal for birdwatching and fishing. However, some visitors noted issues with train noise, site reservation mix-ups, and a lack of privacy due to close campsite proximity.

One of our favorite visits of many. Clean, friendly, relaxing. Thank you!

When booking the site for Memorial Day weekend, it was only available to reserve on Thursday. The rest of the weekend showed FF, or first come first serve. So if we are there Thursday, and the rest is FF, we should be able to stay the whole weekend. When we arrived at the site, it did have our reservation, but also was reserved for the rest of the weekend to someone else. I am perplexed how a FF site can be reserved. Needless to say I sought out other plans, and am highly disappointed in my experience.

There’s a train..., be ready for it! 😉
Beautiful setting and super quiet (except train).

It was a lot windier than I had anticipated, but it was a very pleasant weekend trip. Another thing to remember: it's very likely to be full sunlight all day. Don't forget sun protection (for instance, I forgot a hat!)
