Bulltown is our favorite place to go in the summer. We always get a campsite in Loop D ( we have a very quiet dog)on the water for out boats. The grounds are well kept, the facilities are clean, and the staff is awesome.
Other campers are always nice, respectful and friendly.
We usually camp the at least 2-3 times a year.

Very nice setting and beautiful park with an interesting history. I wish the sites were more shaded, and the bathroom, while clean, was in rough shape so that I chose to shower in our RV.

We were there during lawn care for a couple nights mid week so a lot of mowers and leaf blowers going on. But the grounds do look very nice as a result. Liked our camp site. Bath houses were adequate. Lake was beautiful. All good with the exception of no Cell service.

We always enjoy camping at Bulltown. We visited the museum this time and really enjoyed talking with the couple overseeing it this year. There were a few new displays and it is well worth checking it out. They also do crafts and things with the kids. The Park Rangers really patrolled the campground which we really appreciated. They were very nice and friendly. Maintenance was working on some water lines here and there. When they fixed one next to us it dirtied the water some but it cleared up. The crew contracted to mow is really good this year. I just wish campers wouldn’t park their vehicles so close to the road. It makes getting a big camper harder to park dodging them and trying not to go in the drains and gullies. We filled out a survey at the museum and told one of the rangers that our site F8 really needed a new table. I noticed the one in next loop did too. I really hope they’ve replaced it as we are returning in another week. You just can’t beat this campground for the price you pay.
