What Guests Are Saying
Grant River Campground offers spacious, well-maintained sites with stunning views of the Mississippi River and beautiful sunsets. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendly atmosphere, as well as the proximity to charming towns like Potosi. However, the frequent train traffic nearby can be disruptive for some campers, especially at night.

Wonderfully maintained facility. Sandy & Jim as well as the Rangers Brett and Brent do a wonderful job assuring your experience is what you had hoed for and more. Beautiful views of the Mississippi River. Can be mesmerizing just to set at the campsite and relax.

Nice area on back water on Mississippi like any core there are train tracks but that is well known.

Very peaceful except train traffic along side of campground 24/7. But that is why I went there. Very clean, the camp hosts that I met were very welcoming, friendly and informative. If you need ice grab it in last big town before park.

Beautiful campground and we had a great time. We really liked our site. The only negative was that the shower strength was pitiful and the water never got hot.

The facility is well run and maintained, has excellent showers, and is picturesque next to the Mississippi River.
It does have an adjacent train track to be aware of, like many locations directly next to rivers, so be warned of the sounds that happen at all hours. I camped here for four days and never lost sleep over it.

Beautiful location on the Mississippi River. Minutes from Patosi, WI which has a first-class brewery and beer museum for tasting/tours. Nice, flat spots for parking your rig.
Unfortunately, the reason it only gets 3 stars is because the NOISE. The train is just outside the campsite and WILL wake you up. That is, if you aren't already awake from whatever boat is running up and down the river all night long. I have no clue what they were doing, but the motor was LOUD on that boat and the headlights will blare on your campsite!

Always a pleasure but the Canadian fires have effected the sunsets.

Great place, wonderful breeze coming off the Mississippi, but you are right next to a train track, so buyer beware.
